Author’s Note

Every person goes through various seasons in life.

We journey through good and bad times, through light showers and thunderstorms, sunshine and shadow, laughter and tears. We walk through dark valleys of grief on the loss of loved ones, times of betrayal and broken relationships, and struggles and challenges. Sometimes one season’s pain destroys the joy of all the rest. Other times, we lose our way, or stumble and fall. On lucky days we discover rainbows and bright new horizons. I learned not to judge life by one difficult season.

My journey has taken me through all those seasons with their characteristic weather, signature and landscapes.

Always I draw strength from the assurance that I am guided and that my God is at work in all my life’s voyages. He has taught me to grow at every bend moving me to develop the finest within.

Thus I hope, I collect thoughts and memories, and I write.

  3. You have a gorgeous blog, Cynthia, and what you said here is true–“seasons” of life. I had to get older and wiser before I truly appreciated that! I’m most glad that you know God is with you, guiding you–without Him, the seasons and the journey can be unbearable. With Him, it’s indescribably, deeply good and wonderful! God bless you abundantly today, and always. And thank you for visiting at my blog–let’s stay in touch!

    • Thank you again Caddo for that load of appreciation, I’m a gardener first and a landscape artist by heart before i’m a poet that’s where i get my inspiration in creativity–the beauty and splendor of the changing seasons of life and the steadfastness of God’s love.

that quietly whispers in the winds of the wilderness.
That breeze of stillness that’s always stirring those wildflowers,
