In these difficult and troubled times

May we be drawn closer to God

And be compassionate to the needy and the suffering,

May we experience His grace

In many unexpected ways,

To not lose heart

But to see the light of HOPE

Shine through the dark stormy nights,

May we learn to let go and forgive

Ourselves and those who wronged us,

To renew our faith in the Author of Life,

Turn our trials into blessings,

Be grateful for every living moment

And be good stewards of the precious gift

Of miracle called Life.

May peace rule in our hearts

And so welcome the New Year

With bright hope and smiling joy!

.

Cheers!  Be blest!

A Happy New Year to all!

  1. Beautiful. Have a happy, healthy and blessed New Year.

  2. Such a good word for us all–Blessed New Year to you and your family–love, sis Caddo

    • Thank you, dear Caddo. Been thinking of you and wishing the very best of the Lord’s blessings for 2014. Love and warm hugs to you, my dear…

      • Not sure if I’m just odd, but I seem to have trouble adjusting to a new year; and this year, having lost my neighbor over Christmas, I’m feeling unsettled. But God is good, and faithful to calm the waters around my little boat. Things will likely smooth out, once we get through Jan.

  3. Cynthia, your healing words are always a blessing to embrace…may your New Year be a very spiritually prosperous and a very abundantly blessed one. Share more…your radiance is always missed! God bless my sister!

    • Thank you, Wendell for your prayer of blessings and encouragement. 2013 was a difficult year but I am grateful to you for staying with me and propping my spirit with your gracious words of support.
Likewise, I am looking forward to a bright and abundantly blessed months of 2014 for all of us. God bless you, dear brother!

  4. Amen and Amen – Happy New Year!

  5. Your spirituality is attractive as usual. A very little light can break a very big dark. God bless you Cynthia.

  6. A timely remember, Cynthia.May your year be a little less troubled.
