1.   Finished at long last

an efficient flood shelter

for my forty dogs

on this unpredictable

crazy, foul weather pattern!

2.  Nothing is sure now

faith wears out if you’re not strong

so pray and hold on

plan and work while there is time

be prepared for tomorrow!

  1. These are wonderful and what a great idea, Cynthia, but you have forty dogs? 🙂 I’d love to know more if you’d like to share! I have one dog and would love more if I had the room…anyway, much love and many hugs to you, my friend!

    • Thank you, Lauren, yes, there are 40 of them now which started with only 2 females a decade ago. They are our beloved pets, guards or working dogs for our orchard/ornamental tree farm. I had some female spayed, other puppies given as gifts to kind-hearted friends and clients. Everyone has got a name, and given proper food and medical care. My family loves dogs, some very charming ones are actual room mates, lol!
Otherwise, they roam freely within our farm to guard our implements, vehicles, houses and office from marauders.
They are most friendly during daytime but alert at night, love bath time, but hate their Vet who comes for their regular inoculations.

  2. What joy–40 of them! My breeder friends don’t have that many! I love dogs.
