Warm, dry windy plain

Breezes rustling fronds of palms

Cacti thrust their spines!

  1. Those are amazing–are they near your home, Cynthia?

    • Thank you,Jaels. My cousin from Arizona sent me desert beauties from her photo collection which inspired me to do poetry. No,we don’t have this variety in our tropical country, except from cacti collectors who grow them in special dish pots.

  2. I still find cacti somehow other worldly.
