Your thoughts easily enclose me

touching me warmly

and reaching out happily

as morning light gently pulls up

the curtains from yesterday’s today.

Love couldn’t be measured

in flowers and kisses

or on computed promises.

But love sits upon joy renewed daily,

never to return wanting

but always full and freely flowing,

enhancing one’s totality

with brightness,  warmth and beauty.

Even as turbulent storms may pass on,

the colors of love

never fade,  never change,

for aren’t rainbows made

of the storms quiet memories?

Tenderly,  I reach out

my thoughts with your thoughts,

together… We

Love will do the rest.

  3. What a purple delight is your blog today 🙂 And the poem- love and tenderness conquering the readers!

  4. The color of your post is embracing, its the perfect setting for the kiss of the image that embraces your softspoken words whicht feed waiting hearts with the joy of their love! The flower blossoms as love blossoms everyday when it is carefully massaged and nurtured! Allowing it to smile its loving beauty to the one it is intended for! Awesome poem Cynthia! But you always captivate, minds and hearts allowing them to dream!
