1.   Swiftly vanishing

I am the only one left

On the brink of death!

2.   Earth’s greenhouse effect

Trapping solar heat within

Endless turbulence!

3.   We’ll be next to die

When lungs of this green planet

Take its toll on us!

4.   Remember the trees

The lungs of this dear planet

Irreplaceable!

  1. Oh wow, I really like this, Cynthia! You put the issue in a way this poet could actually understand/relate–thank you!! God bless you abundantly.

  2. I love the message within your Haiku…its so uplifting!

    • Thank you Wendell! The good news is: we were successful in propagating that lone Dainty Bell tree survivor. Please go back to my Sun-Struck Spring Haiku wall post to admire the blooming progeny, we now have about a hundred young tree scions in our collection. 🙂

  3. Wow… Your passion and dedication to poetry is inspiring. Thanks for following your heart.
