1.   The sun has come out

Blessing the thousand species

Of flowers and trees!

2.   The wildflowers sing

Of the greatness of the sun

Cheerleaders of Spring!

3.   Unlike the flowers

We are often ungrateful

We could not see God.

4.   Make us like flowers

Indebted to Your goodness

Thanking You for life.

  1. Appreciation and gratitude – keys to happiness.

    Well-said.

  2. This is really wonderful, Cynthia. I enjoy your haiku so much, and this one really had a good message! Happy Easter to you, God bless you abundantly!

  3. If I could hear the lovesong that flowers sing praising God, it will not even be as beautiful as your words!

  4. We need to be grateful and cheerful all the time. The invisible governs the visible. That’s why believing influences possibility. We respond faster to stimulus than flowers, we’ve got to be better cheerleaders than they are. Lovely post!
