!.   Cool lotus flower

Rises from its muddy bed

Pristine in beauty.

2.   April wounds in spring

Stirring cruel memories

Thawing winter’s pain.

3.   Lilacs in April

Magnificent in spring time

Oasis of fragrance.

  1. These are truly “magnificent”, to borrow your word, Cynthia–wonderful haiku, rich and vivid.

  2. Your beautiful picture paints a serene day in the spring..,.while your words bring a certain magic to life within…putting the soul at peace and energetically lifting the spirit!

    • Thank you Wendell. I miss the spring season in your country,it’s my favorite season- renewal, hope, rebirth, restoration, new promises… i’m writing this now from the imprints in my mind and soul. I wish to revisit maybe on a more predictable weather.

  3. delightful images! love it
