When yesterday kissed tomorrow

Suddenly today was born

And that was the day when the face

Of the clock was uncovered

And time was invented.

The days—they went so fast

Where did they go?

Strange how time flies quickly

From bits of seconds,

to pieces of minutes

and parcels of hours

and volume of days

and then years

and centuries

and thousands of centuries ahead.

But,

How right that today should be born

Together with each majestic moment

That every second, every minute,

Every hour, every day and every year

Brings.
