I am a seed

Embedded in the utmost stillness

Of dark nights

I slumber deeply in the pure

Rawness of life in its unknown form.

I have no knowledge whatsoever

Except sleep

Of eternal dormancy and

                                      Nothingness…

…hence

I await the magical moment

Of birth!

I nurture an intense longing

Of freedom from this hard

Encapsulating self

To express my potentials

And journey into refreshing spring

Into that comprehensible and

Victorious form.

                                     Nevertheless…

…I fear the pain! Because

I shall wither and shatter

And die to my old self

To break free and be born

Into a new life

That awaits me in its

Glorious form…

…thus

This painful death

Is a promise of hope

The beginning of a

New Creation in me.

  1. Well said of a seed. #Joselito Villero

    • Yes, even a seed has a story to tell. Re music accompaniment for my poems that’s a nice suggestion.
